Thank you, everyone, for your support in our recent Corvallis levy election. This will help us maintain services for the next three years, although it is not a complete solution to the City’s ongoing fiscal woes. We will use the funds from the levy to:

• remain open on Mondays
• continue current levels of materials purchasing, and the staff to catalog and process the materials
• keep up our current efforts in the area of early literacy to help ensure all children are ready to read when they enter school
• continue to grow and develop our volunteer program
• maintain the Corvallis Library

 
Unfortunately, the levy funds cannot be used to expand services such as restoring Sunday hours. We would very much like to reinstate formerly cut hours, and restoring Sunday hours is one of our goals.

We will continue to watch carefully where we spend your tax dollars, and we will move forward with!
