How can I cancel a hold?

You can cancel your own holds through My Account. You can get to your account by clicking on the My Account link just above the left sidebar anywhere on the Library's web site.

Enter your 14-digit library card number from the back of your library card, and your PIN. Unless you have asked to changed your PIN at the Circulation desk, your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library card number. Click on the Submit Request button.

You will now see your account information. Go to the section titled Holds near the bottom of the page. You will see a list of the titles you have on hold, with a small box to the left of each one. Select the title or titles you want to cancel by clicking in the box next to those titles. Click the Cancel Checked Items button. When the screen refreshes you will see that those titles are no longer listed in your account.  Note that only pending holds can be canceled.  Arrived holds cannot be canceled.  To cancel arrived holds call Library Circulation at 766-6926.
