MP3 Players to GoDid you know that you can borrow a portable digital audio player from the library? You can also download audio books to it while you are here! The Library's Download Station offers a high-speed connection for your audio book needs. The Download Station is loaded on the scanner computer near the 2nd floor Adult Reference desk at the Corvallis Library. This computer allows you to quickly download your audio books from the Library2Go web site directly to a portable digital audio player. It can also test the compatibility of your own portable digital audio player with the Library2Go system. If you don’t have a portable player or only have access to Apple computers and software then you can check out one of our portable players for 2 weeks at the 2nd floor Adult Services reference desk. Batteries (1 AAA required) and headphones are not included. Headphones can be purchased at the Adult Reference desk for $1. The Library portable players are the Creative Zen Nano Plus & the Creative MuVo V100 models. |
