Computer Use Guidelines

Each person is limited to 1 hour of computer use per day.

Tampering with computer software or hardware is not permitted and may result in loss of computer use privileges.

The Library is not responsible for any damage or loss of data arising from the use of our computer equipment, programs or other library materials.

The Library Code of Conduct and Library Internet Access Policy apply to the use of all library computers.

Word Processing:
All computers with word processing have either MS Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).

Scanner/CD Writer PC:
Epson 3170 or 4180 flatbed scanner with Epson Imaging Software and Adobe Photshop Elements v2, Plextor 40/12/40 Rewritable CD drive with Roxio Easy CD Creator v6

Special Needs PC:
Zoomtext version v9, Dragon Naturally Speaking v9, CoWriter 4000. Computer has track ball, headphones with microphone and large keyboard is available at the Reference desk. Also has 17" LCD monitor.
