Benton Books Online Book Sales Benefit Library

Looking for a quality used book? Check out Benton Books, the Friends of the Library’s 24/7 online used book sale. Our books may be ordered through web sites Amazon, Alibris, and AbeBooks. To check our inventory at AbeBooks, click on the link and look for Benton Books by seller.

Since Benton Books started in January of 2005, over $30,000 has been raised for the Library by this service. When used books are donated to the Friends, they are sorted and special titles are routed for possible listing online. Volunteers assign prices, list the books online, and handle mail orders to the United States and internationally. Recent text and technical books, some first editions, and signed editions sell very well.

If you have a special book of value, think about donating it to the Friends for sale through Benton Books. Next time you’re shopping online for a used book, look for listings by Benton Books and benefit your public library. All money raised by the Friends goes back to the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.
