Check out the Spring Early Literacy Newsletter for recommended children's books, literacy ideas, and music picks to share with young children. This season's newsletter contains articles on leading kids to books through humor, books celebrating peace, moose-themed picture books, early literacy activities for developing vocabulary, staff picks, parenting books, and more.  Storytimes
Check the Storytime Schedule here. The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library offers eight storytimes a week, five at the Main Library in Corvallis, two at the Philomath Community Library, and one at the Monroe Community Library. In addition, there is a storytime for dads and their young children on the first Saturday of the month, as well as a bilingual storytime on the second Saturday of the month at the Corvallis Library. The storytimes are approximately one-half hour long and are filled with stories, songs and fingerplays designed for infants, wobblers, toddlers, or preschoolers.
