3d_printer_reallycroppedRead! Listen! And help the Library earn a 3-D printer!

Your Library wants to bring you cool Makerspace programs and we need a 3-D printer to do it! The Friends of the Library will make a contribution to the Library’s 3-D printer fund for each book/graphic novel/magazine read or audiobook listened to by Teens this summer!

Pick up your Reading Log at the Youth Services desk starting on June 15th.

arduino

Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be programmed to detect light, blink LEDs, and control motors. We’ll be using the SparkFun Inventor's Kit for Arduino - it includes all the bits you need to build a series of basic circuits, no soldering required! SparkFun Kits will be provided; we’ll be programming with a laptop - feel free to bring your own if you’d like to!

The next Make It! Arduino will be part of Teen Summer Reading.

Meets in the Youth Activity Room. No sign up required - just show up!
