Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the Corvallis-Benton county Public Library is an organization 100% powered by volunteers. We are young and old, have varied interests and backgrounds. We love books, and enjoy music, movies and learning. We treasure our library and its staff, and support them whole-heartedly.
What do we do?
Our members raise money to enrich the public libraries of Benton County: Alsea, Corvallis, Monroe and Philomath.

- Cultural programs
- Check-It-Out newsletter/calendar
- Staff training and development
- Library furnishings

- Donate books, DVDs and CDs for our fundraisers
- Shop at our sales: 3-day February book sale, Summer and Fall Festival patio books sales, holiday book sales, 50-cent bookshelves ( located in each library), 24/7 online Benton Books (available from Amazon, Alibris and Abebooks).
- Drop your spare change in the Friends penny jar at the front desk
- Show your support by using the library t-shirts and book totes
